ABOUT CHARLOTTE
THE CURRENT
How could this one woman's story possibly impact lives world-wide and lead close to 500 individuals to rededicate and commit their lives to Christianity through the viewing of her story on The 700 Club?

Why did the former Governor and wife of Tennessee ask to feature her story and experiences on two national documentaries for educators, psychologists, counselors, the judicial system, churches, communities and the media?

Who is this woman, who has spoken and performed before celebrities, politicians, renown musical artists, leaders, educators, survivors of abuse, reformed prison inmates, addicts, the hopeless and everyone in between-encouraging them as they impact the lives of others?

Hailed by Forbes Magazine as the “Encouragement Expert", Charlotte D. Hunt is a nationally known speaker and writer whose combined works have touched lives worldwide. She uses the mediums of books, presentations, workshops, conferences to help people dream madly, pursue wildly and trust completely in the face of past or present obstacles toward their true potential and purpose.
THE PAST
The youngest of four children, Charlotte grew up in a world where sexual and physical abuse, which began at 18 months old from seven abusers, was the norm and relationships, hugging, showing emotion and making mistakes were weak and wrong. She believed that, "It was foolish to dream of a future where my life mattered or could make a difference.” Her feelings were confirmed when a pastor told her that God would never use her because she was damaged goods.

Despite setbacks, hardship and tragedies, she learned the power of encouragement, faith and perseverance moving her to become a musical director, background vocalist, studio musician and jazz artist working, touring and recording with world-renown performers in the music industry, an instructor at the prestigious Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Off Broadway touring and commercial actress, voice-over artist, international runway model and national radio personality.

Charlotte has appeared on over a hundred-fifty, radio programs, national documentaries, television programs, commercials and PBS specials, news shows and faith-based programs. Her remarkable story was featured globally on The 700 Club.

Charlotte worked for over 10 years internationally as a print and runway model before finding her true passion as a national inspirational speaker and writer, helping lives to dream madly, pursue wildly, and trust completely. Authoring four books, Damaged Goods: An Autobiography, the award winning, Damaged Goods: Learning to Dream Again, Dream Madly, Pursue Wildly, and Trust Completely™: What You Wanted to Be When You Grew Up, “A Confident Expectation: Encouragement, Stories, & Thoughts for Those Who Hope” and numerous audio CD’s, Charlotte Hunt has triumphed over abuse, tragedy and great obstacles to become an impacting leader, helping lives to reach their potential, purpose and possibilities and dream dreams big enough to fail toward a life that matters.

"I could not put this book down. I thought that when I got the book, I got it in the hopes that I could gain insight into helping my 8th graders. God had another plan, I needed to read it for me."
